John built his first computer at 12, then built his first “AI” on an IBM 360 owned by the Los Angeles Department of Water (he taught it to play four-dimensional tic-tac-toe). After studying AI at MIT, and then graduating from Harvard Business School, John founded the early networks company Micro Networks of America (acquired in 1993). He began building the architecture that became Validea in 1997.
